It all got started in 1977 when I purchased my first computer. It was a Radio Shack Model TRS-80 Model 1. It was the first computer built for the public consumer and sold through "Tandy/ Radio Shack". It was high end technology computer running on a Z80 CPU made by Ziglog. This was a 64 bit chip but it would be a long time before we would see 64 bit systems. Top speed was .4MHz/8 bit system and had 4K of ROM and 4K of RAM. Oh ya and the storage was a tape recorder. When you turned the computer on it would simply display "OK" and when you hit "Enter" it would only display "OK". There was not any operating system at all only alittle "BASIC language" in the ROM so at least you didn't have to start with "MACHINE language". I should have returned to the store for a refund, because you could buy a good used car for what this computer cost. Lucky for me, no kids at the time so I was allowed to keep it. It has been a long time since those days, but here I am today still buying the latest and greatest hardware, building the EXTREME system  and playing games. Yes I'm a "gamer" and thats how "My Desktop PC" came into existence today. I was buying one computer after another trying to get the best system for game playing. Unhappy with what I was buying  I started designing and building systems. We have been building gaming, business and personal systems since 1992.
